The ‘lava’ effect is created by throwing iron filings into the molten glass, quickly cooling it in areas and shrinking the glass, causing cracks and scars, making each one unique. The mirror plated finish further enhances the effect.

The Lava table lamp is dual lit with a dual rocker switch, the base can be lit individually to the main lamp. Light the top, light the bottom, light both. This is perfect for creating two different moods with the same lamp, making the Lava table lamp perfect for the living room or bedroom.
